ADAC GT Masters - New "EFP by TECE" team in the "Super Sports Car League

Wednesday, April 18, 2018

With Team EFP by TECE, a new Audi team will join the ADAC GT Masters Series in 2018.
Two Audi R8 LMS, driven by drivers Florian Spengler // Dries Vanthoor (#12) and Elia Erhart // Pierre Kaffer (#11), were at the start of the season at Oschersleben.

The Holzer group of companies acts as a technical service provider with over 35 years of experience in professional motorsport. Team founder and head Thomas Holzer himself was a racing driver in the ADAC GT Masters, among others.

With a strong field of starters, the fight for points was extremely tough for the young team. Nevertheless, Florian Spengler and Dries Vanthoor proved the potential of their Audi R8 LMS and scored the first championship points. Elia Erhart and Pierre Kaffer unfortunately had less racing luck this weekend, although they were also very good on their Audi. The decisive factor for the successful start to the season was the good and harmonious cooperation of the entire team. Fascinating was the enthusiasm for the cause and the commitment, which reflected the team spirit. Overall, the EFP by TECE team in cooperation with the Holzer group of companies has performed fantastically.

Conclusion of the first race: Although the desired results were not yet achieved at Oschersleben, the positive impressions outweighed all in all.

The ADAC GT Masters again comprises seven race weekends in the 2018 season. Following the traditional season opener at Oschersleben, this year's "League of Super Sports Cars" will make its first guest appearance at the Autodrom Most (Czech Republic) from 27 to 29 April 2018. After the EFP by TECE team got to know the track during test drives, one can look forward to the weekend with confidence.

Next race: Most Autodrome / 27.04. - 29.04.2018
